National Creature Disease Preparedness and Response Plan
The 2018 Farm Bill established the National Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Program to boost the nation'due south efforts to keep loftier-consequence animal diseases from entering and spreading in the United States. This includes entities eligible for the National Constitute of Food and Agriculture Federal Assist Programs.
- Colleges of veterinary medicine, including a veterinary emergency team at such higher.
- State or national livestock producer organizations with direct and significant economic interest in livestock product.
- Land emergency agencies.
- State, national, allied, or regional veterinary organizations or specialty boards recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association.
- Indian Tribes.
- Federal agencies.

NADPRP Accomplishments and Funded Projects

The Board likewise includes a representative nominated by USDA's Agronomical Research Service and a Tribal nation representative nominated past the APHIS Office of the Tribal Liaison.
